14 MW Rooftop Solar at an

Office Park in NY, USA

Fourteen megawatts is a utility-scale number reached without taking an acre of new land. But this commercial park carries a portfolio of arrays across different buildings, different roof ages and structures, different load profiles, different meters.

Array clusters — having to work with the existing roofing membrane and its warranty — were divided into standoff and ballasted racking. Structural capacity and New York snow loading on top of it decided how many clusters each building could take.

Our scope included site analysis, structural review, planning & engineering, layout, energy forecast, financial assessment, PPA definition, policy and incentives research, and proposal development.
