the North Sea
This offshore wind farm in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland, pairs with electrolysis for hydrogen fuel. We built the techno-economic model that answered questions on costs and revenues— sizing the electrolyser against the turbines' actual output profile, testing multiple configurations, and optimising for levelised cost of hydrogen and capacity factor. We did the development engineering, system design, techno-economic modelling and optimization of the 15 MW offshore wind power based hydrogen plant.
